LushTums Pregnancy Yoga 10am Mae Dewsbury Pregnancy Yoga is a fantastic way to stay in touch with your ever-changing body during your pregnancy. Mae will guide you through breathing techniques and yoga positions to help your posture and breathing throughout pregnancy and labour.
Pregnancy Massage 10.45am Amy Taylor Massage in pregnancy can be wonderful for the mum to be, in this workshop you can learn some useful massage techniques with Amy and she will give you tips so that you can safely provide massage on pregnant partners, friends and family to help ease those pregnancy niggles and use in labour.
Pilates Evolution Post Natal Pilates for Mums and Babies 11.30am Clare Everett Post Natal Pilates’ is a relaxed but effective class to help recovery from pregnancy and birth (and you can bring your non-crawling baby). Clare will lead the class through pelvic floor exercises to regain strength and improve bladder control, exercises to strengthen and tone the whole body, how to develop core strength and breathing techniques to promote relaxation
Barre Concept Class 1pm Amanda Burton Barre Concept is the exciting latest addition to our Grand Studio classes. Amanda will introduce her Barre Concept class which consists of barre work choreographed to music for a cardiovascular element. Pilates technique is incorporated with ballet movements and alignment from yoga to improve posture, tone, lift and more besides
Pilates Evolution Pilates for beginners 1.45pm Clare Everett Come along and try Pilates Evolution! Clare will guide you through gentle stretches to become more flexible, ease tired muscles and engage your core and pelvic floor to improve balance and control. Learn how to strengthen and tone your whole body with simple, effective exercises to improve your posture straight away.
Natural Facelift Massage and Rejuvenating Facial Exercises 2.30pm Amy Taylor When we exercise we forget our face is a complex network of muscles, collagen and elastin too! Amy will demonstrate her top techniques for Natural Facelift Massage including a 5-minute facial routine you can do on yourself and facial rejuvenation exercises to practice at home. The massage and exercises are not just to prevent wrinkles and lift the features, they can help ease tension in the head and neck.
BUQI Energy System 3.15pm Hilary Thompson BUQI (pronounced ‘boo-chi’) is an energy healing system. Hilary’s class will be introducing you to the basic principles of BUQI and Taijiwuxigong (pronounced ‘tie-jee-woo-she-gong’) and how to work with your energy to support your health. The class covers key aspects such as posture in exercise and life, the breath with silence or sound and the mind focused or relaxed.
